The department of "Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics" of Al-Farabi KazNU, using innovative technologies and the latest teaching methods aimed at developing students' creativity, research skills within the framework of the discipline "Legal foundations of combating corruption" held a competition among students of the first the University course for the best video on anti-corruption topics.

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University was visited by the State Secretary of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kazakh statesman and political figure, diplomat Krymbek Kusherbayev. One of the most successful alumni of Al-Farabi KazNU - Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, head of its Permanent Representative Office in Almaty, Eszhan Amantayevich Birtanov, is sure that it was the alma mater that served as an excellent start for his professional career.
