On April 6-7, 2023, the International Conference of Students and Young Scientists “Farabi Alemi” was held at Al-Farabi KazNU. The conference will be attended by students, undergraduates and young scientists under 35 from universities, research centers and research institutes of the Republic of Kazakhstan and foreign countries.

On the basis of the Higher School of Medicine and Health of the Faculty of Medicine and Health of KazNU, on April 7, 2023, a meeting of the section "Actual Issues of Medicine, Public Health and Health" was held. During the section, reports were heard from students, undergraduates of KazNU named after al-Farabi, KazNMU named after. S. Asfendiyarova, JSC “South Kazakhstan Medical Academy”, NJSC “Semey Medical University”, Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute, Uzbekistan. In total, 31 participants spoke in the section. The topics of the reports covered various areas of medicine and healthcare: dentistry, pharmacology and pharmacy, student health assessments, problems of awareness of various diseases, obstetric pathology, diabetes mellitus, drug addiction problems, addiction to social networks and many others. When evaluating the reports, the commission took into account the relevance of the research topic, scientific novelty, practical / or theoretical significance, the results of their own research, performance and presentation skills. At the end, all participants were given certificates, and the winners were awarded diplomas.
