Every year, the Department of "Economics" of Toraigyrov University holds an international competition of student scientific papers on economic specialties. The purpose of this competition is to activate and intensify the research activities of students, improve the quality and multi-vector academic process. This year, the international competition was held on the theme "Sustainable development of the national economy in a dynamically changing global geopolitical situation." The scientific competition worked in two directions: 1) The main trends of modern world development, and their impact on the sustainability of the national economy; 2) The Strategy of sustainable development and digitalization of industries. Our 4th-year students of the educational program 6B04103-Economics: Lisa Berdibaeva and Didarkyzy Karakoz participated in this international competition with a research paper on the topic "The impact of digital platforms and ecosystems on the development of priority sectors of the economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan" and took the 3rd prize (Head of the Research Institute Gulmira Andabayeva, PhD, associate professor).
