On March 16, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor of the Department of Economics Tulegenova Madina Sakenovna held a leadership lecture “On Actual Skills and Professions in the Near Future” for students of the specialty “Economics”.
It takes at least 4 years to prepare a specialist with professional skills and competencies. But in the age of modern technology, the market is changing its preferences, much faster than 15-20 years ago. So you have to learn constantly, continuously. This is a key feature of modern education.
Madina Sakenovna noted professions in the field of economics that will always be in demand:
1. Economist-analyst. An analytical note accompanies all audits and is the main information for decision-making. Not every accountant is able to conduct a systematic analysis.
2. Brand manager, a specialist who creates demand for a new product (marketer + economist + manager in one person).
The students also discussed soft skills - “soft skills”, which are important for absolutely all specialists today. They are also called transprofessional because they contribute to personal development, career growth and increase the efficiency of work in any field.
