On November 18-19, 2021, the Head of the Department of Economics of the Higher School of Economics and Business, G.R. Dauliyeva, took part in the First International Forum of Public Figures, Creative Businesswomen and Social Entrepreneurs from Kazakhstan, Central Asian countries, the USA, Spain and other countries of the world, which was held in the Pavilion of Kazakhstan at EXPO-2020 Dubai with the support of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Participation in the forum was financed by the state grant "Best university teacher – 2020".

This forum is one of the main events in the world of transformations and fast-growing changes, which brought together leading coaches and mentors of Kazakhstan, as well as foreign independent experts in the field of development. In addition, well-known political leaders, public figures, heads of major companies took part in the Forum to discuss topical issues related to the use of coaching technologies in Kazakhstan, other Central Asian countries and the UAE in all spheres of life. 

The headliners of the forum were Harry McDaniel - PhD, Professor in HR, Franklin University, member of the ISU Council, ICU Master Trainer; Mikhail Dernakovsky – Member of the ICU Council, ICU Master Coach, Head of ICU Coaching Institutes in Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, the Baltic States; Enrique Jimenez Soler – President of ICU (Spain, Latin America), President of ICU University, Member of the ICU Council; Ilya Shmelev – PhD, Certified Professional Master Trainer ICU, Certified Professional Master and Trainer of Coaching and Executive Coach, Senior Lecturer at the National Research University Higher School of Economics; Galiya Bagdat – Director of the International Association ProfessionalCoachICUin Kazakhstan, Vice-President of the Association for Business, Society and State Relations; Ayazhan Uteuova– President of the Association for Business, Society and State Relations, Head of the Center for Research and Consulting.

The topic of the forum "Coaching in a period of change and innovation: a successful state, diversified business and civil society" harmonized with the main slogan of EXPO 2020 "Uniting minds, creating the future" and was aimed at discussing topical issues of balanced interaction of key economic actors in the conditions of the VUCA world and economic turbulence.The Forum has created an effective platform for networking, international collaboration, exchange of experience and professional development in the field of coaching technology in education. New challenges dictate new requirements for the educational process. And this is a modern approach to learning that creates engagement, raises motivation and increases responsibility for results.

The communication of the forum participants, professional and informal, pursued a common goal – to find joint approaches that meet the challenges in a period of change and innovation.
