Competition "Tauelsizdik tugyrym"!
 

Republican creative competition for students, organized by the Department of Pedagogy and Educational Management of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
The purpose of the competition is to instill in students a sense of patriotism, independence, national pride, national identity, and national duty.
The competition consists of 2 stages.

• Stage 1: "Tauelsiz el uranym" - reading a poem. Participants of the competition read poems and shoot videos on the following topics: the theme of the Motherland, native land, independence. This stage of the competition is evaluated by the number of votes in the social network. 20 participants with the maximum number of points go to stage 2.
• Stage 2: writing an essay on the topic "Tauelsizdik-tyrym". Contestants must write a 1-2 page essay. Essays will be evaluated by professional experts. Essay sections are scored mainly on a 10-point system in terms of the established requirements: 
• Compliance with the topic of the Essay, semantic integrity, mental connection, systematic presentation - 10 points;
•  Solving a problem with specific evidence within a given topic, issuing independent conclusions - 10 points;· Argumentation of the presented theses by competent arguments, presentation of different points of view, citation of the problem, quantitative data, compliance with the requirements for the use of scientific data and the design of sources - 10 points;
•  Ability to apply methods of comparison and generalization in the analysis of concepts and phenomena, critical thinking, sincerity of opinion - 10 points;
• Compliance in the text with lexical, phraseological, grammatical and stylistic norms of the Kazakh, Russian language, spelling and punctuation rules - 10 points 

Applications and videos for stage 1 are accepted until April 15. Voting on the social network will last 10 days and will end on April 25 at 23:00. The list of participants who have passed to the 2nd stage will be published on April 27. Essay writing takes 3 days, and essay acceptance ends on April 30th. The results of the competition "Tauelsizdik tugyrm", consisting of 2 stages, will be determined on Victory Day, May 9, 2021. Students of all universities between the ages of 18 and 21 can take part in the competition.

• 1st PLACE - 30,000 (1 prize)
• 2nd PLACE - 15,000 (2 prizes)
• 3rd PLACE - 10,000 (3 prizes)
