On February 3, 2024, the final of the First Almaty Student Competition in International Commercial Arbitration (TKS Mutcourt) was held. From the Department of International Law of KazNU named after. Al-Farabi created two teams that qualified for the finals; 16 best teams from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan participated in the qualifying final round of the competition. Team No. 52, made up of KazNU students, took second place in the finals of the competition.

  The students were awarded a cash prize in the amount of two million tenge. Students of the Department of International Law of KazNU named after. al-Farabi, who took part in this competition:
