Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data took part in the opening of the 1st International Forum of Young Scientists

Head of the Department of "Artificial Intelligence and Big Data" Mansurova Madina took part in the Plenary session of the I International Forum of Young Scientists "Intellectual potential of independent Kazakhstan: 30 years of formation and development", organized by the Nursultan Nazarbayev Foundation. Topic of the report: "Perspectives of AI in Medicine".
The purpose of the Forum is to bring together scientists, politicians, industry leaders, representatives of civil society and the media to discuss topical issues in the development of national science. The Forum was attended by representatives from 14 countries: Belarus, Great Britain, Germany, Kazakhstan, Canada, China, Latvia, Portugal, Russia, USA, Tajikistan, Turkey, Ukraine, France.
Within three days, the Forum hosted: open lectures on the collaboration of science and entrepreneurship, popular science workshops from well-known popularizers of science, an exhibition of scientific achievements and show cases of young scientists of the country, a round table on sustainable development of science and a conference on artificial intelligence and Big Data in medicine.
Speaking at the Plenary Session, Madina Mansurova stressed that the role of artificial intelligence in medicine and healthcare is very important. And the periodization of the development of artificial intelligence systems is presented, the concept of "artificial intelligence" is defined and its elements are concretized, the scope of its application is determined, and the experience of introducing individual elements of artificial intelligence in medicine is presented.
The participants are confident that the Forum will become a platform for intellectual potential for the youth of Independent Kazakhstan.
Concluding his speech, the Secretary of State thanked the Nursultan Nazarbayev Foundation for the initiative and organization of the International Forum, and expressed confidence that the results of the Forum will contribute to the further development of national science.
