Automation and control


The purpose of the educational program is to strengthen the skills ofundergraduates necessary for successful work in the field of automation ofproduction processes. A graduate of the program can analyze the technologicalprocess, offer architecture and approach to problem solving, implement andoperate ready-made solutions. The main emphasis is on the development ofanalytical apparatus, the formation of applied skills to solve problems.

 

For successful training applicants need skills in the field of differentialequations and calculus of variations, knowledge of automatic control,programming skills and critical thinking. In the first year of study undergraduateswill master the theoretical foundations (optimization of control systems, intelligentcontrol systems, etc.) and tools (industrial devices, the Internet of things). In thesecond year, undergraduates will have the opportunity to develop their skills bycompleting projects.

Machine learning and data analysis

 

The purpose of the educational program is to strengthen the analyticalapparatus of undergraduates and prepare them for work in the field of data analysisusing machine learning tools. After graduation, graduates can work in any field,including business, manufacturing, public service, etc. The Main emphasis is on theformation of synthesis skills to solve the problems of data search and analysis,extracting from them non-obvious facts and patterns

 

For successful learning applicants need knowledge of algebra and geometry,programming skills and critical thinking. In the first year of study undergraduateswill master the theoretical foundations (problem setting, selection and modificationof the algorithm, evaluation of its work, etc.) and tools (Python, Anaconda, etc.). Inthe second year, undergraduates will have the opportunity to develop their skills bycompleting projects. Classes in the second year are invited to practice.

Business Analytics and Big Data

 

The purpose of the educational program is to prepare undergraduates towork in the field of business Analytics using big data.
