Nurdaulet Tasmurzaev, a 1-year master student of KazNU, Faculty of Information Technology, Department of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data, specialty "Intelligent Control Systems," together with his scientific team, developed an intelligent program that instantly determines the presence of a mask in a person.
The innovative development will allow CCTV cameras to identify violators of the quarantine regime. It took two months to develop the program. In the near future they will install a camera with this program in crowded places. They also plan to commercialize the program.
