On February 4, 2023, the III International Educational Exhibition "FIZMAT Education Fair - 2023" was held at the Republican School of Physics and Mathematics. The educational exhibition was held as part of the XIX International Zhautykov Olympiad in Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science, which was attended by 1500 students from 21 countries.
Abdidin Alina, Momysh Nazerke, Eldoskyzy Kuralai ,4th year students of the Department of Mechanics took part in the 2nd international educational program SPINAKER, organized by the University of AGH UST in Krakow from December 8 to 18, 2022. The event was attended by 40 students from 10 universities.
In the traditional 49th Sports Contest of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University “Health ", volleyball competitions among university teachers and staff were held from January 4 to 12. At this event, the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics took second place among men and third among women. The winners were awarded by the chairman of the “Parasat” trade union of Al-Frabi Mekebayev T. K. KazNU with diplomas and prizes.
On December 21-22, the VII Open Championship in Robotics and Innovative Technologies Techcup-2022 for the Cup of the Akim of Almaty took place.
Zarina Turtayeva, a graduate of the Department of Mechanics of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, successfully defended her doctoral thesis on the topic "Genesis of AEMFC (anion exchange membrane fuel cell) at the lab scale: from PEMFC's inks composition towards fuel cell bench tests in alkaline media".
