April 13 at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University celebrated Nauryz. Each faculty put its own yurt. The Yurt of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics was named «MATEMATIKTER AÝYLY».
In Al-Farabi Kazakh National University From 27 to 29 March Department of Mechanics held the XI Republican student subject Olympiad in mechanics.
