PhD, postdoctoral student of the Department of Mechanics, Associate Professor Yerzhan Kelesovich Belyaev held a lecture for students of mechanics on the ZOOM platform (videoconference) for the purpose of career guidance on the educational program "Mechanics".

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted a ceremony of laying flowers to the monument to the outstanding figure of our people, state and public figure, academician Omirbek Aryslanovich Zholdasbekov. The team of the Department of Mechanics of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Al-Farabi KazNU took part in the II Republican Robotics Championship among universities "ETU Robocon 2021", having won the third prize.

Scholarship named after Academician Shahbaz Ershin for success in academic and research activities awarded to students and undergraduates of the Department of Mechanics of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of the Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi.

The scholarship was established by the Ershin family as a sign of recognition and support for the youth, as a symbol of the succession of generations of intellectuals.
