According to the program for the preparation of PhD doctoral students of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 3rd year doctoral students of the specialty "Space Technique and Technology” have an internship abroad. PhD student Beisembekova M. K. conducts research work in Estonia, Tallinn Technical University, laboratory of wave engineering, department of cybernetics.

Meruert and her scientific advisor, Head of the Wave Engineering Laboratory, PhD, Prof. Tarmo Soomere, are working on studying the wave climate using altimetry data. Doctoral students Ermoldina G.T. and Bapyshev A.M. are doing scientific training at the Technical University of Lublin, Lublin, Poland. On the basis of the university there are plenty of scientific laboratories, the internship takes place in close communication with foreign consultants, PhD doctors Omitek Sbignev and Konrad Gromashek.
