At the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of the Kazakh National University. Al-Farabi representatives of the National Company JSC "KazMunayGas" LLP "KMG Engineering" engineering expert Tuleshov Maksat and Bayseitova Zhanna, Dean of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics Zhakebaev Dauren Bakhytbekovich, Deputy Dean Karuna Oksana Leonidovna, Head of the Department of Mechanics Rakisheva Zaure Bayanovna, Deputy Head of the Department of Mechanics Turalina Dinara Eleusizovna, coordinator of the OPO "Mechanics-Power Engineering" Tungatarova Madina Sovetkalievna, with the participation of the Head of the Department of Computational Sciences and Statistics Temirbekov Almas Nurlanovich, Head of the Department of Physical Chemistry, Catalysis and Petrochemistry of the Chemical Faculty of Aubakirov Ermek Aitkazievich, Professor Konuspayev Sapargali Retaevich, Acting Associate Professor Igembayev Ideit Bolatovich held a round table on the prospects of cooperation.

During the conversation, the following issues were touched upon:

• ·        Joint development of research topics within the framework of educational programs according to the list of the most problematic issues specific to the oil and gas fields of the group of companies of JSC NC "KazMunayGas";
• ·        Organization and implementation of joint research and development activities within the framework of educational programs aimed at solving current production problems of the oil and gas industry, including the creation, testing and practical implementation of innovative solutions in the field of geology, hydrodynamics, field development and digitalization;
• ·        Joint scientific management of course papers and final qualification papers (theses and dissertations) within the framework of the bachelor's and master's degree programs of KazNU, which are of mutual interest;
• ·        Organization and conduct of industrial, pre-graduate practice for students and research practice and scientific internship for undergraduates and doctoral students of KazNU on the basis of KMG Engineering LLP;
