As part of the project "Illuminate the world around you" at the Department of Biophysics and Biomedicine held a seminar on "Children's body and stress".

In the course of the workshop, students will learn the concepts, the influence of stress on the body and the psyche of children, was presented to the option of formulating adaptive strategies of behavior in stressful situations, the representation on the various methods of self-regulation of Emotional States.

December 06, 2018 at 13: 00 in the framework of the project "Healthy Lifestyle" at the Department of Biophysics and Biomedicine held a discussion platform on the topic: "Proper nutrition - the guarantee of health".

Purpose: education of respect for their health, the formation of a healthy lifestyle, to form a habit of eating properly and observe the diet.

Proper nutrition is an integral part of a healthy lifestyle, the basic rules of which must be laid down from childhood and which must be followed throughout life. Unfortunately, the number of overweight and obese people in our country is currently growing. The problem is most acute at the present time in respect of children and young people, because excess weight and obesity affects almost 30% of the population, half of them not and 18 years.

The event dedicated to the World AIDS day was organized at the Kazakh National University. Specialist AIDS Centre, gave students a lot of information about AIDS. During the event, students supplemented their knowledge.

November 30, 2018 at the Department of Biophysics and Biomedicine in the framework of the project "Spiritual revival", with the participation of 2nd year students of specialty "5В011300-Biology" was held a festive concert program "Leader of the nation – support of the country", dedicated to the Day of the First President!

The celebration of the day of the First President is of national importance. The key task of the celebration of the day of the First President is to further strengthen the large – scale historical role of the First President of Kazakhstan-the Leader of the Nation Nursultan Nazarbayev in the construction of Kazakhstan's statehood, ensuring stable development of society in the XXI century.

At the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology of the Kazakh National University. Al-Farabi 11/21/18, 11:00. At the audience 214 within the framework of “Ruhani Zhanyru” a round table was held on the topic “Modern problems of biomedicine and biophysics” and “My pride is Kazakhstan”. During the round table our guest from Moscow V.P. Zinchenko shared his experience in modern biophysics and biomedicine. Students and teachers of the department discussed this topic and improved their knowledge by asking questions.

In the framework of the project "Green Campus" 2nd year students of specialty "5B011300-Biology" visited the biological clinic at the faculty of biology and biotechnology. The purpose of the tour is to familiarize students with the basic rules of working with animals in the experiment.

The staff of bioclinic showed students the conditions in which laboratory animals are kept and introduced students to the basic rules of working with experimental animals.

The biological clinic (vivarium) is a scientific and auxiliary division of our University and is created for the maintenance and cultivation of the laboratory animals used in biological researches and laboratory classes.
