The Department of the Far East held a brain-ring on the topic “Protection of marine and terrestrial ecosystems”

Recently, such problems as the limitation of natural resources and their wasteful use are becoming more and more relevant. In this regard, humanity is fighting for the protection and restoration of marine and terrestrial ecosystems. A dynamic fight against desertification and the process of land degradation and loss of biological diversity is taking place. These measures are concrete steps to save the earth's ecosystems. In addition, it is important that every person thinks about the well-being and protection of our planet and makes his contribution to the process of preventing, stopping and reversing the process of destruction of the world's ecosystems.

In this regard, with the aim of forming deep knowledge of students about sustainable development under the leadership of the UN. department of Korean medicine Zhakhanovoy Z.A. and zav. Department of Japanese Studies Tazabekova G.B. at the department of the Far East, a brain-ring was held among students of the 3rd year of the educational program "Vostokovedenie" on the topic "Protection of marine ecosystems and terrestrial ecosystems". Brain-ring consisted of three rounds, students were divided into groups and answered various questions on the theme of the event. They exchanged opinions on current problems of protection and preservation of ecosystems of the earth and proposed ways to solve them.

In conclusion, it should be noted that similar events encourage the young generation to think about the urgent problems of humanity and contribute to the realization of the concept of sustainable development.
