On November 20, 2023, in the Al-Farabi Library, at the Kazakh National University, a seminar was held by a visiting foreign professor, PhD Sakurai Tomonobu, on the topic “Sports training based on the scientific characteristics of muscles.” The seminar was attended by students, undergraduates, doctoral students and teachers of the Department of Physical Education and Sports, as well as the Department of the Far East of the Faculty of Oriental Studies. The seminar consisted of a presentation by Mr. Sakurai and a question and answer session. All event participants received certificates for their active participation.

     In addition, from November 20 to 22, a ceremony was held to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation between the al-Farabi Kazakh National University and Toin University, Yokohama (Japan). The signing of a cooperation agreement contributes to the further strengthening and development of international relations between universities.
