On November 16, 2023, an event on the theme “K-CULTURE DAY” was held at the Department of the Far East (Korean Studies), focused on 1 course. The event was prepared by professor Lee Byong Jo and students of 1 course. The purpose of this event is to introduce the culture of Korea and increase interest in Korean studies through the event, and thereby unite and strengthen relationships between students. In the first part of the event, video congratulations were shown from graduates who work or study with a grant for a master's program in Kazakhstan and abroad (Korea, Poland, etc.), and from exchange students in Korea. And in the second part, various types of musical numbers were presented (K-POP song and dance, playing the Dombra, etc.). The event was very fun and useful. Thanks to this, students were able to increase their knowledge of Korea, and in addition, they were able to share a lot of useful information necessary for studying Korean studies.
