Chuseok is a wonderful family holiday in Korea, which is celebrated on August 15 according to the lunar calendar. This year, the celebration took place in Korea from September 9 to 12. Usually, during Chusok, many Koreans go to their hometowns and celebrate everyone's favorite holiday together with their family and relatives.

Every year, the Department of the Far East holds various events for students in honor of this holiday. At this year's celebration, the participants of the event had a fun and useful time: students, dressed in Korean national clothes, laid the festive table and tasted traditional sweets (Incholmi, Kkultok). During the event, the advisor told the students in detail about the special features of the "Chuseok" holiday and gave the students an opportunity to better familiarize themselves with the traditional national and cultural values of the Korean people. The event was held at a high organizational and content level.
