The event was organized by the 2nd year students of the specialty "Oriental Studies" together with the curator, who prepared presentations and quizzes on the topic of the holiday. Adviser of the 3rd year, B. Zh. Tashenbayeva, congratulated the students on the holiday and spoke about the significance of this victory. Mahanova Elmira told about the beginning of the Great Patriotic War, about the contribution of Kazakhstan to the victory in the war, as well as about the exploits of such heroes as T. Bigeldinov, B. Momyshuly, A. Moldagulova, M. Mametova, N. Abdirov. And Khozhan Kaysar gave a presentation on the scientific discoveries made during the Second World War, and their significance for the victory in the war. Kurvanzhanova Arzigul organized a quiz on the topic of war and told about the hard work of the Kazakh people on the way to victory. 2nd-year adviser U. A. Amirbekova told about the memories of front-line soldiers who took part in the war. The participants of the event paid tribute to the memory of the victims of the war with a minute of silence.
