The new academic semester for the Department of the Far East of the Department of Korean studies began with a grant project of online courses for advanced study of the Korean language. The grant project is implemented by financial support of Korea Foundation (KF) and Sookmyung Women’s University (SWU).

The University has an IEQAS (International Education Quality Assurance System) certificate confirming the status of an international educational institution. Online courses are developed according to the program of this course is designed for 15 study weeks of 3 hours per week. Training programs are carefully thought out, so it is strongly recommended to follow them completely, from beginning to end. The online course "Korean for foreigners (level 1)" is held on Tuesdays, and the course "Korean for foreigners (level 2)" is held on Fridays. Online courses are attended by more than 50 students of the 1st and 2nd year of the Korean Department. At the end of the course, these disciplines will be included in the transcript of students. University, video lectures are conducted by professors from the above-mentioned University. The teaching staff includes masters and doctors of science who specialize in teaching Korean linguistics.
