International Study Fair 2019 organized by Bolashak Foundation was held in Nur-Sultan, Shymkent and Almaty. The International Study Fair 2019 sponsored by the Bolashak Foundation was held in Nur-Sultan, Shymkent, and Almaty from October 5th to October 12th. The representative of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Ninomiya Takashi - an invited professor at the Faculty of Oriental Studies, participated the study fair. A huge amount of high school students, university students, and graduate students participated in this exhibition. The number of participants was 6000 people at Nur-Sultan, 5000 at Shymkent, and 6500 at Almaty. Many different universities participated in the exhibition, not only Japan, South Korea, China and Russia, but also about 150 universities from Turkey, Europe and the United States have also taken part. The Almaty office of Tsukuba University explained general living conditions in Japan, introduction to faculties, and scholarships. There was also explained how to enter a Japanese language course at Kazakh National University and then study abroad at a Japanese university, how to enter a Japanese graduate school while studying at Kazakh National University. Participating students have a wide range of study fields, including computer science, engineering, international relations, business, medicine, and art design. The questions were mainly asked in English.
