December 4, 2014 in the framework of social-innovation project "Айналаңды нұрландыр!" Department of Korean and Japanese Studies of the Faculty of Oriental Studies organized and conducted scientific and educational seminar on "Myth and History". Organized a seminar senior lecturer in U.A.Amirbekova B.Zh.Tashkenbaeva and in conjunction with the 4th year student majoring "Orientalism." At the seminar was invited well-known scientist, Doctor of Philology, professor of the theory and methodology of translation Zhaksylykov Aslan Zhamelevich.
In accordance with the program of the seminar 4th year students Кaraulova Danagүl and Danabaeva Aynur demonstrated their presentations on the development of world mythology and myths about Korea. Then Aslan Zhamelevich very detailed and interesting account of the relationship of history and mythology. No question the students will not go unanswered. A.Zh.Zhaksylykov demonstrated his encyclopedic knowledge in the field of history, literature, archeology, genetics and others.
