Samal Kadikova, Senior Lecturer of the Department of the Far East, undergoes an internship at the Japan Foundation, the Japanese Language Institute in Tokyo
On December 6th, the Chairman of the Japanese Bank Mitsubishi in Kazakhstan gave a lecture to Far East Department’s teachers and students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
By the initiative of our scholars of the Department of Far East Studies, Chun Byong-soon and Myong Soon-ok, now, 3 universities in Europe (2 in Spain; 1 in Finland) as well as 4 universities in Kazakhstan are joining this international project of One Asia. These activities under the project will activate to expand academic and scholar exchange between universities in Kazakhstan and universities in Europe.
The Kazakh poetry of Olzhas Suleimenov sounded within the walls of the National University of Jeonbuk (Republic of Korea). On November 23-24, a large-scale international competition in the Korean language took place at the Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages named after Ablaikhan.
