At the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data of the Faculty of Information Technologies of the al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted the 6th international seminar "Technology for Everyday Life".

The seminar was attended by Professor of the Portuguese University ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (ISCTE-IUL) Octavian Postolache, Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Mansurova M.E., Professor Murzabekov Z.N., Professor Belgibaev B.A, M.M. Kunelbaev, G.A. Amirkhanova and also. Head of Biophysics, Biomedicine and Neurology Department, Professor A.M. Kustubaeva, physiotherapist, rehabilitologist O.Sh. Ibraeva and about twenty other lecturers of our university

Professor Octavian gave a presentation on «Smart Health: Smart Physical Rehabilitation Case study».

Special attention was paid to the following topics: "Ageing problems and solutions", "S-Health mHealth and smart city interaction", "IoT technologies for S-Health", "S-Health support for physiotherapy assessment", "Smart Guides", "M-Health Wearable Sensing Solutions".

 M.E. Mansurova made a report "IoT based personalised mHealth Monitoring System", Kunelbaev M.M. presented a report "Analysis of the formation of homogeneous Fiber Bragg Gratings used a phase mask", Amirkhanova G.A. presented a report "Tools and applications for Big Data analytics".
