A meeting was organized with the well-known writer, playwright and alumnus of KazNU im-al-Farabi, Dulat Isabekov. The meeting was held at the faculty level. During the meeting, the writer shared his life experience and creativity. Meeting with such an art figure as, Dulat Isabekov, gives a positive effect to students.

A sports event was organized between the 1-year students of the IT department. 5 teams of the specialty MKM, informatics and VTiPO took part in the volleyball competition. 1-st place was taken by the team of VTiPO 17-4, 2 and 3-rd place shared teams VTiPO 17-3 and VTIPO 17-2. Teams teams were consolation prizes, and the winning team received a gold ball and all teams received gifts.

Nauryz is the beginning of a new year for the Turkic people. A beautiful spring holiday Nauryz is celebrated for a month and the Department of Informatics organized an event in honor of the holiday. The students put on a concert program, where they played on dombra, staged and various games.
