Dean Aliya Massalimova lectured at Sofia University

Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Aliya Massalimova, as an invited visiting professor, lectured on the course: "Interdisciplinary approaches in the humanities and social sciences" at the Faculty of Classical and Contemporary Philology of Sofia University, St. Clement of Orchids (Bulgaria).

The visit was part of a multi-year bilateral cooperation, which resulted in the successfully implemented Kazakh-Bulgarian Master's program of a double diploma "Europe and Asia: Cultural Diplomacy and Geopolitics in the European Union".

Graduates of the Sofia University attended the lectures of Kazakh professor who spoke about the key principles of the state program "Rukhani Zhangyru. Modernization of public consciousness ", as well as projects such as "Al-Farabi university - smart city", "100 books", "Ainalandı nurlandyr" and "Green campus" implemented by the university and the faculty. In her speech, the dean especially emphasized the importance of developing a scientific collaboration in the field of culture, education, philosophy, political science and religious studies.

During the visit were held fruitful meetings with the Vice-Rector of Sofia University for Academic Affairs programs of undergraduate and graduate, Professor, PhD Renata Bozhankova, Dean of the Faculty of Classical and Modern Philology, Professor Madeleine Danova, director of the Educational Center "БГ-Предтеча" Violeta Dobichina, representatives of the Faculty of Philosophy : Professors V. Matanova and S. Korableva. During the talks with the director of the Center for Eastern Languages ​​and Sciences, Professor Alexander Fedotov possible prospects of cooperation were discussed.

Also, Professor Aliya Masalimova was invited to the reception with the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Bulgaria, Mr. TemirtaiIzbastin.
