On March 7, a gala event dedicated to International Women’s Day on March 8 was held at the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Sciences. Opening the festive event, Dean of the Faculty Aktymbayeva A.S. in her speech she emphasized the special role of women in society.

During the event, on behalf of the Chairman of the Board - Rector Zh.K. Tuimebayev was awarded women with the university medal “Eren Enbegi Ushin”, “Kurmet Gramtasy” and “Algys Khat” for fruitful work within the university, contribution to the development and prosperity of the university, as well as on behalf of the Member of the Board - Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs questions Erkinbayeva L.K., Member of the Board - Vice-Rector for Social Development Suatay S.K. and Dean of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management Aktymbaeva A.S. Certificates of honor and letters of gratitude were presented.

The ceremonial meeting continued with a concert program. The performances, organized by the men of the faculty, were held at a high level and aroused many positive emotions among those present.

At the end of the event, all women in the hall were presented with beautiful flowers on behalf of the men of the faculty.
