On 09.03.2023, the Department of Cartography and Geoinformatics of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University held an event on the theme "disaster-2023". Employees of the state institution "Republican Operational Rescue Squad of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Almaty city)" were invited to the event, who on behalf of the country asked for help in the earthquake in the Turkish state. The meeting was opened by the head of the department Aizhan Asylbekovna. The meeting was attended by Konyrbayev Maulen Zhakanovich-head of the 3rd department, Jafarov Olzhas Duisebayevich-chief specialist of the 3rd department, Asanbayev Burkit Serikovich-rescuer of the 3rd department.
