On April 7, 2022, a round table was held on the topic: «Implementation sustainable development goals: challenges and opportunities» under 1st International Farabi Forum, organized by the faculty of geography and nature management.

The purpose of the round table was to discuss scientific problems and educational practices in the geographical sciences to ensure sustainable development.

During the round table, issues related to sustainable environmental management and green economy, modern technological solutions for the implementation of sustainable development goals, technosphere safety and environmental protection, relevant problems of natural and anthropogenic systems, the role of the nexus approach for achieving sustainable development goals.

The participants discussed issues of sustainable development and got acquainted with the experience of colleagues from far abroad, in particular, the University of the District of Columbia (Washington, USA).
