Round table to discuss the draft Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On geodesy, cartography and spatial data". 12.11.2020. Organizers: Department of Cartography and Geoinformatics, Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management, Al-FarabiKazNU, Union of Geodesists of Kazakhstan, Geostroyizyskaniya LLP.
The work was carried out in the framework of the following areas:
- The concept of the draft Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On geodesy, cartography and spatial data";
- The concept of the draft Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On amendments and additions to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on geodesy, cartography and spatial data."
The round table discussed:
• Scope of this Law;
• Analysis of the world experience and the CIS laws on geodesy, cartography and spatial data and on amendments to certain legislative acts.
• Legal regulation of relations arising from the implementation of geodetic and cartographic activities;
• Justification of the need to develop a draft Law;
• The objectives of the adoption of the draft law.
• Anticipated legal and socio-economic implications if the draft law is adopted.
