Al-Mashani's ascent to the top of the alloy of geology, Mathematics, geometry and mechanics

On November 2, 2020, the Al-Farabi Center and the Department of Cartography and Geoinformatics of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management organized and held a round table "Al-Mashani's ascent to the top of the alloy of geology, Mathematics, geometry and mechanics" in an online format.
The round table was attended by representatives of universities and employers of Kazakhstan, as well as faculty of the department, students, undergraduates and doctoral students.
At an online meeting with employers, questions were discussed about the future of geodesy and cartography specialties, further cooperation and employment of graduates.
The roundtable participants took the initiative to hold an international conference in honor of the 115th anniversary of the birth of the great thinker of the 20th century al-Mashani in 2021 with the involvement of prominent scientists in the field of mining and Geology, geomechanics, geodesy, cartography on the basis of al-Farabi KazNU to discuss the prospects of development of mining science in Central Asia.
