The 49th traditional sports contest “DENSAULYK” among teachers and other employees of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University is held from January 4 to 13. 

PhD, senior lecturer of the UNESCO Department for Sustainable Development Tanabekova Gulzhanat Bakytovna was awarded the breast medal "100 NEW FACES - 2022" of the CIS and a diploma of the first degree. 

On December 17, the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management conducted educational work of curators before the semester exam with 1st-year students of the specialty “Geodesy and Cartography”.

On December 15, an advisory hour on the theme “Tugyrly Tauelsizdik”, dedicated to Independence Day, was held with 3rd-year students of the specialties “Geodesy and Cartography”, “Geoinformatics”.

On December 9, an educational hour on the topic “Tauelsizdik tugyrym” was held in offline format with 1st-year students of the specialty “Geodesy and Cartography” at the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management.

On December 5, at the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management, an open lesson on the topic “believe in your knowledge, not in human help!” was held in offline format with 4th-year students of the specialty “Geoinformatics”.

On December 3, an educational hour on the topic “Corruption is a disease of the future” was held at the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management with 1st-year students of the specialty “Geodesy and Cartography”.

On December 2, exercises were held at our university to teach actions that should be performed in earthquake conditions.
