The main goals and objectives of the conference: broad involvement of students, young scientists and practitioners in the search for effective solutions related to the preparation of the World Student Games in 2023, the study of the problems of physical culture and sports, socio-cultural aspects of the sports mega-event, the establishment of scientific links between young scientists and students, the exchange of scientific and practical achievements, discussion of the possibilities of introducing research results into real practice.

The conference was attended by students, young scientists and teachers, postgraduates and doctoral students; young specialists in the field of social sciences, physical culture and sports, sociologists, economists, political scientists, specialists in the field of youth work; representatives of state authorities and local self-government; heads of sports clubs, federations and leagues; representatives of public organizations and associations active in the field of physical culture and sports, participating in the organization of the World Student Games in 2023.

The moderator of the discussion platform "Socio-cultural aspect of the World Student Games - 2023: prospects and expectations" was Zholdubayeva Azhar Kuanyshbekovna, Professor of the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Doctor of Philosophy.

In the sections "Culture and sports events: features of relationships" and "Education and training as an integral part of sports management", PhD 2nd-year doctoral students of the specialty "Cultural Studies" Tolep D.M. (Gender issues in the paintings of modern Kazakhstani artists) and Sarieva A.T. (Distance education as a mechanism of adaptation to the new cultural realities of Modern Kazakhstan), 2nd-year master's student Gidzhanova A.K. (The role and significance of artifacts of national art in the development of cultural tourism in Kazakhstan) and Smagulova Zh.S. took part and made a report. (Art management as a complex system of management activities in the field of culture and art).
