On November 17, the Department of Philosophy together with the Department of Sociological Sciences of the University of International Business named after K. Sagadiev and the student’s philosophical club «Zholshy» held a Republican scientific forum on the topic «Philosophy of the XXI century: the view of philosophers». On the platform of the philosophical forum, topical issues facing philosophical science today, the views of philosophers on the current problems faced by humanity were discussed. On the same day, a Republican scientific and practical conference was held on the topic «The status of a philosopher in society», which contributed to the festive week.

On November 19, a Republican scientific seminar was held on the topic «Philosophy in the life of society and man» with the participation of students of philosophical and other specialties, on November 12, an online meeting was held with the state environmental inspector for Almaty Dinmukhammad Lesbekov on the topic «Problems of the Ecosophy of Kazakhstan», and on November 15, an informational and educational meeting was held with philosopher and coach Baydlayeva Akmaral Kaurzhauovna, organized by the scientific club of young philosophers «IDEA» of the Department of Philosophy.

On November 18, an online meeting was held with Professor Altai Taizhanov and writer-philosopher Didar Amantai on the topic «The happiness of a philosopher, or is a philosopher happy?», on November 15, a meeting with students was held by senior lecturer of the Department of Philosophy, Master of Religious Studies Tasbolat Assyltai on the topic «Harmony of religion and tradition», on November 18, a meeting of Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, head of the Department of Philosophy of KazNU Kuranbek Asset on the topic «Philosophy and translation», on November 25, the final meeting of the graduate of the Department of Philosophy, PhD student of the University of Ogndokuz Mayys Zhanykulov Nurlybek on the topic «Philosophy in the world educational space» was held.

Approved at the 33rd session of the UNESCO General Conference in 2005, World Philosophy Day was declared in order to show the importance of philosophy, especially for young people. Philosophy is a scientific discipline that encourages critical and independent thinking, creates a worldview and promotes the ideals of tolerance and peace.
