Department of Sociology and Social Work at faculty of philosophy and political science of al-Farabi KazNU with the support of UNICEF implements the international project «Improving state programs for graduate and post-graduate training and re-training of social workers and specialists that perform the function of social work, including basic competencies for interaction at the individual level and in the community to change social norms and behaviour in Kazakhstan in the framework of the UNICEF-EU on the protection of children in migration processes». 

On January 20-21, 2021, with the support of the Department of Educational Work of Al-Farabi KazNU, a winter training seminar of the School of Curators-Advisors was held. Winter trainings have become a good tradition. The winter workshop has been held for 11 years in a row. A feature of this year is the remote format, with the desire to preserve the training approach.
