On December 8, 2022, a conference was held at the Faculty of Mathematics, organized by the groups "Mathematics" of Professor of the Department of History of Kazakhstan of the Faculty of History Kozybakova Fatima Akynbayevna with a wide discussion among students of the life and work of a brilliant diplomat, Sarabdal politician, who is starting our country into the future – Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev. Head: Kozybayeva Fatima Akynbayevna. The conference organized a discussion of the President's Message and the historic day for our country – the elections.

During the scientific conference, students got acquainted with the life and works of the head of state. In particular, the works prepared by the students were presented in the form of an abstract, work with a map and a presentation. In addition, works and books, selected articles in newspapers and magazines were presented as an exhibition. Such a unique technique allowed us to broaden the horizons of knowledge, delving into the essence and meaning of the message, getting acquainted with the experience of our president– a person who has become a coveted people, from the years of independence to the present day.

Among the 1st year master’s students of the specialty “7M01602-history and geography”, on December 16, in honor of the Independence Day, on 06.12.2022, a round table was organized on the topic: “Independence is the most precious thing!".

The round table was held by an Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, and Head of the Department of History of Kazakhstan B.B. Karibayev and made an introductory speech as a moderator: "Akhmet Baitursynuly, Kazakh poet, researcher, Turkologist, publicist, teacher, translator, and public figure, was one of the leaders of the national liberation movement in Kazakhstan at the beginning of the twentieth century, and was a member of the Alash-Orda government."

Dean of the Faculty of History of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, D.S. Baygunakov stated that in the Soviet historiography of Kazakhstan, the opinion was based on that "the government of Alashorda was dissolved because it was against the Soviet system." At the same time, he emphasized that many cases about the state of Alashorda, Alash figures, including Akhmet Baitursynov, were not disclosed in historical literature and textbooks.

Among the honored guests of the round table, Professor of the Hadzhettepe University, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Mehmed Dervish Klynychkaya (Turkey) made a report on the topic "The influence of Akhmet Baitursynov on the formation of a new National state idea in Kazakhstan."

Our next guest from the University of Hadjeteppe, Professor Seifir Yildirim (Turkey), made a report on the topic "Review of studies on the topic of Alash Orda and Akhmet Baitursynov in the state of Turkey". The report contained the history of the formation of the national intelligentsia in Kazakhstan and a historiographical overview of the main works published in Turkey on this issue.

It is obvious that the teaching staff, undergraduates, and students participating in this event get acquainted in more detail with the life and work of the teacher of the nation - Akhmet Baitursynov.

On November 12, 2022, a meeting of 1st year students of the Faculty of Geography, Meteorology, Life Safety of the Faculty of Geography and Nature Management with employees of the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held, organized by U. M. Zholdybaeva, Associate Professor of the Department of History of Kazakhstan, Candidate of Historical Sciences. During the meeting, students got acquainted with the data and information on the history of Kazakhstan.

On November 1, 2022, was held the university event "The Great Teacher - Akhmet" dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the birth of Akhmet Baitursynov, organized by the students of the "Mathematics" group, and Professor of the Department of History of Kazakhstan of the Faculty of History Kozybakova Fatima Akynbaevna.

On October 14, 2022, at the Department of History of Kazakhstan, the Faculty of History of  Al-Farabi KazNU, held a leadership lecture on the topic “Time. Society. Historian". The lecture was read by a professor of the Kazakh branch of Moscow State University named after. M.V. Lomonosov, Doctor of History Orazbaev Altai Iranbekkyzy.

The lecture was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of History, Ph.D., Assoc. Professor D.S. Baygunako: faculty members, doctoral students, undergraduates, and students. Analyzing the relationship of “Time. Society. History”, A.I. Orazbayeva shared her thoughts and gave some explanations about her life path and the path to science, about her work in the field of science and directions of research.

It was discussed how fundamental processes occurring at the modern global national level affect our formation, what is the shape of modern history, what are the features of historical science, its content, logic, methodological tools, methodology, and succession of educational foundations.

On April 14, 2022, the conference "The Great Artist Who Served the Nation" was held at the Faculty of Philology in honor of the 125th anniversary of Mukhtar Auezov with the participation of the "Kazakh Language and Literature" and "Literary Studies" groups. Head: Fatima Akynbaykyzy Kozybakova During the conference, the writer's life and creative path and little-known facts about him were noted. The students staged an excerpt from the play "Enlik-Kebek", the young poets dedicated their poems to the great writer. The event was attended by well-known professors of the Faculty of History. It was noted that the event was held at a high level. During the event, students introduced about the life path and work of Mukhtar Auezov in an unusual way. That is, the prepared project was divided into 5 positions: abstract, diagram, map, additional materials, presentation. This feature of the work made it possible for participants and viewers to look deeper into the life of Mukhtar Auezov.

Today, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary, as well as for the contribution to the development of the Faculty of History, the senior lecturer of the Department of History of Kazakhstan Smagulov Sabyrkhan was awarded the medal "Eren Enbegi Ushin".
