27^th of September, 2017 Department of Language and general education of foreigners of the Faculty of Pre-university Education was held an educational event "Falconry – the traditional occupation of the Kazakhs". During the event the students met with the traditional occupations of Kazakhs-nomads, including hunting. The students visited Falcon center "Sunkar" in the foothills of the Alatau, which also contains rare species listed in the Red data book, birds of prey and the ancient Kazakh breed dogs. The attention of students presented a show of falconry.

From the 17th to the 22nd of September 2017, Department of Language and general education of foreigners of the Faculty of Pre-university Education held a "Week, devoted to Day of languages of peoples of Kazakhstan". During the various educational activities (curator hours, round tables, discussions, meetings) students, studying the Kazakh and Russian languages, have received exhaustive information about the history of this date as well as on the language policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Кафедра языковой и общеобразовательной подготовки иностранцев в рамках проекта «Айналандыр нурландыр» проводит открытый кураторский час на тему:  «Символы открытости,  мира и надежды», посвященного 25-летию независимости Республики Казахстан.
