On November 23, 2018, foreign students together with the curators of the Department of Language and general education of foreigners of the Faculty of Pre-university Education, studying the Kazakh language, visited the M.Auezov Kazakh drama theater. They watched the premiere of the play "Anna Karenina".
23th November, 2018 at 14.00 in the Memorial office of the People's writer of Kazakhstan Azilkhan Nurshaikhov in the National library of Kazakhstan at Abai Ave., 14 an event dedicated to summarizing the results of the Republican contest of literary creativity of students, as well as the solemn ceremony of awarding the scholarship named after the People's writer of Kazakhstan Azilkhan Nurshaikhov to the winners of the competition.

"Days of Japan" at the Faculty of Pre-university Education

In the 2018-2019 academic year at the Department of Language and general education of foreigners of the Faculty of Pre-university Education began work a new student’s club: the “Club of international friendship”. One of the directions of the club's work is the organization of the days of culture of different countries. In October-November, the Department of Language and general education held days of Japanese culture.
On October 20 and 27, 2018, foreign students of the Department of Language and general education of foreigners of the Faculty of Pre-university Education took part in the cleaning activities of the University in the framework of the citywide clean-up.
October 9, 2018 at 12:00 in the classroom No.203 educational students club “Language & Knowledge” of the Department of Language and general education of foreigners of the Faculty of Pre-university Education held an educational event in the framework of the project "Light the world around you": "Greetings are the beginning of everything." The language of the event is Kazakh. The purpose of the event was to tell students about the features of greeting the Kazakhs, as well as get acquainted with the traditions of greeting in Korean, Chinese and Japanese cultures.
October 5, 2018 at 20:00 in Assembly hall of the hostel No.14 educational students club “Language & Knowledge” of the Department of Language and general education of foreigners of the Faculty of Pre-university Education held an educational event in the framework of the project "Light the world around you": "History of the University and the Great al-Farabi." The language of the event was Kazakh. The purpose of the event was to tell foreign students about the personality of the Great al-Farabi.
On October 5th and 6th, 2018 teachers of the Department of Language and general education of foreigners of the Faculty of Pre-university Education organized excursions to lake Issyk for foreign students studying Russian (05.10.18) and Kazakh (06.10.18) languages. During the tour, the audience also visited the Scythian burial mounds.
3d of October, 2018 at 19.00 a.m. in the Assembly hall of the dormitory №14 Teachers of the Department of Language and general education of foreigners of the Faculty of Pre-university Education hеld an educational event "Hello, Kazakhstan". Тhe event was held in Russian. The purpose of the event was to acquaint foreign students with the necessary information about Kazakhstan.

Тhe event was held in Russian & Kazakh. The purpose of the event was to tell students about the Faculty of Pre-university Education, to present information about the features of the educational process, as well as to answer questions from students.
