On 27.02.2020, teachers of the Department of language and General education training of foreigners Aitpayeva A. S., Akhmedova A. K., Kurmanova T. V., Sadenova A. E. held a meeting with foreign students on the topic "Prevention of infectious diseases"in the house of students No. 14. During the meeting, issues of protection from infectious diseases were discussed.
On January 27-31, 2020, the "International Friendship Club" together with the curators-advisors of the Department of language and General education of foreigners of the faculty of pre-University education held a "Week of Korea". The participants of the event were presented a round table "Musical art of Korea", viewing a feature film, as well as an open curatorial hour "Country of morning freshness".
22.02.2020 teachers of the Department of language and General education training of foreigners Tolmacheva D. S., Ignatova E. R. in the house of students No. 14 held a meeting with foreign students on the topic "Health Care". During the meeting the sides discussed issues on the effects of Smoking, alcohol and drugs etc.
20 February 2020 teachers of the Department of language and General education of foreigners of the Faculty of pre-University education held a charitable action in the framework the year of the Volunteer announced by the President of Kazakhstan K.-J.Tokayev visited the "Мирный Қазақстан" nursing home. During the visit, the teachers of the Department brought food, as well as talked with the occupants of the shelter.
On February 12, 2020, teachers of the Department of language and General education of foreigners of the Faculty of pre-University education held a sectional meeting within the 50th international scientific and methodological conference of al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The speakers discussed current theoretical and applied problems of teaching Kazakh and Russian as foreign languages.
On 08.02.2020, from 19: 00 to 21: 00, the event "National traditions of South Korea" for foreign students was held in the house of students No. 14 under the leadership of Matsko I. V. and members of the KID club.
08.02.2020 from 12:00 to 13:00 teachers of the Department of language and General education of foreigners Tolmacheva D. S., Ignatova E. R. held an event with foreign students on the theme: "al-Farabi-the great educator, philosopher, mathematician" in the house of students No. 14. During the event, foreign students took an active part in the discussion and asked questions of interest to them.
On January 23, 2020, a meeting of employees of the "Smart health" medical center with foreign students of the Department of language and General education of foreigners of the faculty of pre-University education was organized on the topic: "Coronavirus infection: prevention measures and rules of behavior in case of detection of symptoms of the disease". Medical professionals focused on prevention measures, as well as rules of conduct in case of detection of symptoms of the disease.
January 9, 2020 curators of the Department of Language and general education of foreigners of the Faculty of Pre-university Education took an active part in the School of curators-advisors with the support of the Department on educational work of al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
From 6 to 10 January 2020 teachers of the teachers of the Department of Language and general education of foreigners as part of the sports team of the Faculty of Pre-university Education took an active part in the traditional Spartakiad "Health" among the teaching staff of the University.
