International Relations of the Department of Geography, Land Management and Cadastre

Institute of Regional Geography Leibniz (Germany) is engaged in scientific research in the framework of social and economic changes in Eastern Europe, from a spatial perspective. Moreover, the study of cities belongs to a special branch of the institute's specialization. Professor of the Institute, Isolde Brade, actively collaborates with teachers of the Department of Geography, Land Management and Cadastre of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, she is a scientific consultant to doctoral students of the department, which during 2017, 2018. underwent a scientific internship at this institute. In addition to consultations with a foreign leader, doctoral students were given access to a scientific library, Institute funds and scientific seminars.
Professors of the Department of the Department of Geography, Land Management and Cadastre G.N. Nyusupova and Sh.M. Nadyrov participated in the international scientific project "Urban reconfiguration in post-Soviet space" together with scientists from post-Soviet countries at the Institute of Regional Geography. Leibniz. Professor Isolda Brade is a consultant and one of the developers of the educational program in the specialty "Geography".
