The al-Farabi library hosted a scientific seminar on the topic: "Technological services of geodesy for the development of a smart city"
The Department of Geography, Land Management and Cadastre organized a seminar on the topic: "Technological services of geodesy for the development of a smart city", dedicated to the problems of using geodesy and remote sensing technologies in various areas of urban planning.
The scientific seminar was held jointly with Leica Geosystems and the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) as part of the VI International Farabi Readings.
The main objectives of the seminar were to unite scientists from the field of geodesy, remote sensing and GIS of the Silk Road countries establish international cooperation, and share knowledge in the field of geodesy, GIS and remote sensing.
