Seminar was held in the "Kazakhstan Agency of Applied Ecology"
On January 10, 2020, a seminar was held at Kazakhstan Agency of Applied Ecology LLP. Seminar theme: "Bioindication in environmental monitoring: methodology, problems, practice."
Students, undergraduates and doctoral students of the Department of Geography, Land Management and Cadastre of al-Farabi Kazakh National University took an active part in this seminar. During the seminar, Ph.D., associate professor Vladimir Nikolaevich Uvarov, made a report, who noted that the training of personnel competent in the field of geo-environmental problems, the use of GIS and remote sensing for environmental protection is one of the most relevant areas today.
KAAE is a base for industrial and research practice for students, undergraduates and doctoral students in the specialties "5B060900-Geography", "6M060900-Geography", "7M05204-Geospatial Environmental Management", "7M05203-Geography", "8D05202-Geography".
It is worth noting that KAAE is one of the main employers for students of the department.
