Al-Farabi Director of the Institute of Geography and Water Security of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Geographical Sciences, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, twice laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of science and technology Medeu Akhmetkal Rakhmetullaevich on behalf of the authors, laureates of the 2019 State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan in science and technology named after Al-Farabi awarded sponsorship scholarships to students of the Department of Geography, Land Management and Cadastre A. Yakovenko, Aliyeva J., Atymtaeva D., Zhaksybay G., Tazabek S., Isman Sh., Isakh A. and students of the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology in bemsya 1 Mill. m. Presentation of a scholarship on behalf of scientists from the Institute of Geography and Water Security has become a tradition. Medeu A.R. Earlier, in the framework of the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2013, it allocated sponsor scholarships to students and undergraduates of the Department of Geography, Land Management and Cadastre in the amount of 1 million tenge, and also donated 10 sets of the “National Atlas of the Republic of Kazakhstan” in three volumes designed for his leadership at the Institute of Geography and Water Security of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
