On February 5, 2021, the IV International Forum "Digital Almaty 2021 - Digital Reboot: A Breakthrough into a New Reality" was held in Almaty, with the participation of the Prime Ministers of the EAEU countries. The Heads of Government summed up the results of the last year and noted what success the states that are members of the Union have achieved in the field of digitalization. The work of the forum was carried out online. The forum was attended by S.T. Tynybekov, A.K. Kusainova. and other members of the department.
Welcoming remarks were made by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Kemelevich Tokayev, Prime Minister A. Mamin, President of the World Economic Forum Berge Brende, Vice-President of Google Vint Cerf and others.
During the forum, Panel sessions were held in 13 areas. A senior lecturer of the department Kusainova Ainur Kazybekovna took part in the work of the Panel session "The Future of Electronic Commerce".

Asel Zhanasova noted the positive aspects of the COVID-19 pandemic: the pandemic led to a significant increase in online commerce and increased sales through the B2C and B2B channels.
This panel discussion discussed global e-commerce trends; measures necessary for sustainable growth of e-commerce in Kazakhstan; approaches and tools stimulating an increase in non-cash payments in e-commerce; measures to support small and medium-sized businesses to go online; protection of the rights of online buyers; data protection and cybersecurity in e-commerce.
