The traditional seminar of the "School of Curators-Advisers"
For the first time the traditional seminar of the "School of Curators-Advisers", organized by the Department of Educational Work at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, was held in a special format-online via zoom.
The webinar "Formation of student life skills in the context of distance learning" was conducted by Kalymbetova E.K., Associate Professor of General and Applied Psychology, Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science.
During the seminar, the psychology of a stable person, psychological aspects of communication and communication between students and teachers were discussed.
Psychologists recommended advisers on how to identify special students from the "risk group" and how to observe the emotional background of the student group. Advisors should be friends with students, second parents, and students should feel care and receive advice on how to improve their academic performance in different ways. The advisors also received information on the timely detection of negative factors in students and the mandatory psychological support of such students.
Advisors were introduced to "Technologies of self-development in the context of distance learning" and performed a variety of interesting exercises.
