The official opening ceremony of the 1150th anniversary of Abu Nasir al-Farabi was held on January 29, 2020 at the Student’s Palace of Al-Farabi KazNU. In a solemn event participate State Secretary of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.E. Kusherbaev, Akim of Almaty city B.A. Sagintayev, government and public figures, representatives of international organizations UN, UNESCO and others, diplomatic missions in the Republic of Kazakhstan, rectors of universities, heads of scientific centers and research institutes, foreign and domestic scientists.
