Meeting of the faculty staffs with representatives of the Polish company “COMET”
February 19, 2020 at the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University held a meeting of the faculty with representatives of the Polish company “COMET”.
The Polish company “COMET” is a manufacturer and supplier of modern meteorological equipment and weather services.
During the meeting, company representatives spoke about high-quality equipment for measuring atmospheric characteristics and weather phenomena with modern equipment that allows you to get the most accurate readings. Also during the meeting, we discussed further cooperation in this area. Representatives of the COMET Company visited the training meteorological station of the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, where a modern automatic meteorological station (ARMS) is installed.
