Meeting of faculty with representatives of Tsukuba University, Japan
January 28, 2020 at the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University held a meeting of the faculty with representatives of Tsukuba University, Japan.
During the meeting, questions were discussed about the possible cooperation of the University of Tsukuba and the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management of al-Farabi KazNU in the field of academic mobility, the exchange of students and undergraduates, co-leadership of doctoral students and undergraduates, as well as a great interest in joint research in the field of mountain ecosystems.
The beginning of successful cooperation was the participation of our undergraduates in an internship at the University of Tsukuba (Japan) as part of the Campus-in-Campus program, from March 22, 2020 - March 26, 2020. According to the results of the selection, the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology will be represented by 1st year undergraduate Dapen Inkar (speciality Meteorology) and 2nd year undergraduate Zharylkasyn Adlet (speciality Hydrology)
